Illustration | Apothecary Diaries

I illustrated a folding-fan design of Maomao from Apothecary Diaries as a passion project. Drawing inspiration from traditional ink paintings and their fine inkwork, I composed a dream-like scene with goldfish swimming through a lotus pond. For the color palette, I refined a more antique, washed out color with the exception of the accent color orange to reflect the ink wash aesthetic.
